She is dismissive and not a happy person. She does not make the patient feel heard or understood. There are very fer diabetes providers in Intermountain so I will continue to go to her for my prescriptions but she needs to understand how to create a better patient experience.

Besides the normal care, we also spoke about future visits, planning ahead. She ordered a test, this will be done soon. Went over prescriptions, I like the fact that she cares about my overall care.

She did not listen to me. She was very gruff and not understanding of my feelings as the patient. She did not answer my questions. She had to go and ask the nurses for suggestions on changing the settings on my pump.

She educates and guides rather than just tells you what to do.
