About The Provider
Paula “Denise” Guimond, FNP, grew up in a multi-generational household and has watched her older family members navigate the healthcare system with English as their second language. She understands that compassion and patience are two things that should be given to everyone. Denise earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Nevada State College and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is excited to join the Intermountain Health team and offer her patients a partner to walk them through their cancer journey.
She spends her time with her husband and their three boys. She is often watching a T-ball or baseball game or at a swim meet.

She made my visit an extremely pleasant one. She went over results and asked questions. When we shared updated info regarding my brothers, she was compassionate. She answered my questions in a way that I could understand because I am not a medical professional. Intermountain Health is very fortunate to have such a caring professional on their team.
