Patrick M. Minaghan, LPC

Originally from Riverside, Illinois Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business Management, followed by his Psychology degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. Following his education, Patrick moved to Denver, Colorado to complete his post Masters training with Aurora Mental Health Center Crisis Stabilization and Walk-In Center. Prior to joining SCL Health, he worked as an evaluator in the Denver area’s psychiatric emergency rooms and crisis centers. As a therapist Patrick enjoys helping people through some of the lowest points in their life and understanding the root causes of how they got there. Patrick’s clinical interests include cognitive behavioral therapy and supporting people through compassionate and unconditional care.

I am passionate about all of the different elements of mental health care but I have a special interest in the outdoors and using its bounty to improve oneself and our community at large.”

When Patrick is not seeing patients, he can be found snowboarding, hiking playing with his dog, listening to live music and spending time with his friends and family.
