Dr. Lapkin is originally from north central Illinois. She attended the University of Notre Dame for undergraduate school and earned her doctor of medicine from the University of Illinois. Dr. Lapkin completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois. She is board certified in both adult psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Lapkin has been in practice for more than 30 years.
