Pace Romney, MD

Pace Romney, MD, is a board-certified nephrologist at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Kidney Services Clinic, in Provo, Utah. He supports patients across the Utah Valley, dedicated to helping them understand and manage their kidney health. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, kidney stones, glomerulonephritis, hypervolemia, and kidney transplant care. He also provides dialysis services to support patients at every stage of their kidney health journey.

As a provider, Dr Romney believes in patient-centered, evidence-based medicine delivered with empathy, clarity, and respect. He is known for taking the time to thoroughly explain each patient's care, ensuring they feel informed and supported every step of the way.

He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Guthrie Healthcare System, followed by a Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Utah. He also holds a degree in Medical Technology and Clinical Laboratory Science from Idaho State University.

Originally from Southeast Idaho, Dr. Romney enjoys spending his time outdoors mountain biking, hiking, and skiing.
