About The Provider

Olusola Laja, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in noninvasive cardiology and structural heart imaging. She is dedicated to helping patients in St. George, UT, improve their quality of life by focusing on heart health and prevention.

Her clinical interests include cardiac imaging, valvular and structural heart disease, as well as general and preventive cardiology. Dr. Laja is passionate about using advanced imaging techniques to accurately diagnose and manage heart conditions, while also empowering her patients to take an active role in their care.

She believes in delivering high-quality, compassionate care through collaborative decision-making—always respecting each patient’s values, beliefs, and unique background.

Dr. Laja earned her Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia, followed by fellowships in both general cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging at the University of North Carolina.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Laja enjoys spending time with her husband and their toddler, cherishing moments of family life and balance.
