Olivia Fernandez, NP

Family Nurse Practitioner Olivia Fernandez acknowledges that growing up in the Philippines made her appreciate the importance of good health. She witnessed how poverty and lack of access to healthcare impacts a person’s life. That’s when she knew she wanted to work in medicine.

After completing her bachelor's in nursing at Arellano University in Manila, Philippines, she moved to the US where Olivia pursued and achieved her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Her concentration is gerontology or providing care for senior patients.

As a nurse practitioner, she retains the same enthusiasm and goal to help others, especially more mature patients. Olivia’s ability to speak English and Tagalog makes communicating important health information and treatment plans easier. Plus, her experience working in kidney care, ICU and cardiac care ensures she can deliver the highest level of care to patients as an Internal Medicine provider.

Olivia’s free time is spent with her family, which includes her husband and their three children. When they’re together they enjoy watching movies, shopping, reading and trying new foods.
