Nicole Nelson, PA

Nicole Nelson, PA‑C, is a pediatric gastroenterology provider at Primary Children’s Hospital, in Salt Lake City Utah where she cares for children and teens with a range of digestive conditions. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and is drawn to cases that encourage her to think critically and tailor care to each child’s unique needs.

As a provider, Nicole’s philosophy of care is simple and heartfelt: she listens with intention, treats every patient with kindness, and helps in any way she can. She wants families to know she is always happy to listen and believes the best care happens when providers, patients, and families work together to create a plan that fits their goals, values, and everyday life.

A Utah native, Nicole, is grateful to serve the community she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, running, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.
