Nicole Brinton, RD

Nicole Brinton is a registered dietician (RD) at Intermountain Health's Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and Primary Children's Hospital in Lehi, Utah. She supports patients already admitted to the hospital specializing in infant and pediatric nutrition with a particular passion for caring for infants who require enteral nutrition, or tube feeding. She loves the challenge of assessing each infant's unique medical needs, developing thoughtful feeding regimens, and adjusting nutrition plans as a child grows and their clinical needs change. She treats a range of concerns including malnutrition, poor weight gain, picky eating, food allergies, and enteral nutrition in infants and children.

As a caregiver, Nicole believes every infant deserves the opportunity to thrive through optimal nutrition. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, family-centered care that supports healthy growth and development. Nicole strives to create individualized nutrition plans that are both medically sound and practical for each family's unique circumstances. Her goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence to nourish their child.

Nicole understands that feeding concerns can feel overwhelming, and her goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where families feel heard, respected, and empowered. She believes parents and caregivers know their child best, and she values partnering with them to build nutrition plans that are both evidence-based and realistic for their family's everyday life.

Originally from Boise, Idaho, Nicole enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, backpacking, making sourdough, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
