Nicholas H. Bishop, MD

Nicholas "Nick" Bishop, MD, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Hospital and Spanish Fork Hospital. As a hospitalist, Dr. Bishop cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. He coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. He's in the hospital every day — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

As a provider, he considers it a privilege to care for patients during some of their hardest days, when they are seriously ill and need hospital care, and support patients and their families through these moments.

His time with each patient in the hospital may be short, but Dr. Bishop finds deep meaning in knowing he makes a difference for someone every day he works. He enjoys being part of a skilled team that works closely together to give each patient high-quality care focused on their needs.
