Nicholas Gajkowski, MD, is a family medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah, He enjoys caring for patients across every stage of life. For him, the appeal of family medicine is its variety—managing everything from preventive care to acute concerns and chronic disease, all while building the kind of long-term relationships that let him care for the whole person.

As a provider, Dr. Gajkowski believes excellent family medicine begins with listening. His clinical interests include evidence-based medicine, preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, sports medicine, cardiovascular disease prevention, diabetes and metabolic health, nutrition and exercise counseling, and comprehensive primary care.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, outside of work, Dr. Gajkowski loves snowboarding, mountain biking, golfing, hiking, and traveling with his wife. When he's home, he enjoys playing video games and spending time with his two cats.
