Nicholas B. Edman, NP

Nicholas "Nick" Edman is a certified nurse practitioner who specializes in electrophysiology at Intermountain Health's Heart Rhythm Specialists in Murray, Utah. Nick supports patients in Murray and throughout the Salt Lake Valley, treating heart blocks, arrhythmia, ventricular tachycardia, and more. Nick is passionate about evidence-based medicine and cardiovascular care. He also has a special interest in geriatric medicine and believes medicine should focus on improving patient functionality and quality of life. 

Patients can trust that Nick is committed to listening and collaborating with them to identify the best treatment options for managing their symptoms and enhancing their quality of life. His passion for helping others began early, starting his medical career as an EMT at just 18 years old, followed by work as a CNA. After earning his degree from Utah Tech University, Nick began his nursing career in the Acute Cardiovascular Care Unit at the Intermountain Heart Institute, where he served as a Registered Nurse for six years. While working there, he pursued advanced training at the University of Utah, completing the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. Nick is thrilled to continue his journey with Intermountain as an Advanced Practice Provider with the Heart Rhythm group.

When he's not working, the American Fork, Utah native enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children. Together, they love exploring the mountains, hiking, and fishing. Family and friendships hold a special place in his life. Nick also enjoys movies and reading during his downtime.
