Dr. Williams brings a diverse background of medical training and personal experience to his cancer patients. During a career in the USAF he trained and practiced in general surgery and obstetrics and gynecology before transitioning to radiation oncology. Dr. Williams now employs the surgical acumen gained during those years as a procedural expert in radiation oncology, bringing a unique perspective and skill set to cancer care. Dr. Williams approaches his patients with compassion and empathy developed as a result of watching his mother battle cancer. That experience was a major factor in motivating him to transition to a career in radiation oncology. Dr. Williams approaches every new patient as he would a family member, employing the empathy gained through personal experience and the expertise developed over years of medical practice outside of radiation oncology in order to optimally serve and treat his cancer patients. Dr. Williams considers it an honor to partner with his patients in their cancer journey.
