Nathaniel T McCook, NP

Nate is a dedicated provider with a drive to empower patients to make informed decisions for their health, believing that knowledge is the key to achieving optimal well-being. Originally hailing from Tempe, Arizona, Nate has called southern Utah home for the past eight years.

His medical journey began when he earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from Utah Tech University in 2017, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University - Idaho. His educational pursuits culminated in a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in 2022.

Nate's clinical interests are wide-ranging, with a particular focus on the pathophysiology of heart failure, heart failure recovery, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, cardiac amyloidosis, pulmonary hypertension, and right-sided heart failure.

Driven by a deep commitment to providing exceptional care, Nate ensures that his patients are not just recipients of treatment but active participants in their healthcare journey. Prospective patients can expect thoroughness and genuine compassion from Nate, who believes in going above and beyond to meet their needs.

Outside work, Nate enjoys playing guitar, exploring nature through hiking adventures, cherishing moments with his two children, and nurturing his relationship with his wife through regular date nights.
