Nathan A Rainwater, DO

Nathan "Nate" Rainwater. DO, is a hospitalist at Intermountain Health's American Fork Hospital and Utah Valley Hospital.  As a hospitalist, Dr. Rainwater cares for patients throughout their hospital stay. He coordinates treatment, manages medications, and works with specialists, nurses, and patients’ primary care providers to keep their care connected. He's in the hospital every day — listening, answering questions, and making sure patients understand their plan of care from admission through discharge.

As a physician, Dr. Rainwater believes patients should feel informed and included in their care. He takes time to explain each patient's diagnosis clearly and walks through their treatment options so they can feel confident about what comes next. He listens carefully to every question and concern, so his patients know they are heard and understood during their hospital stay.
