Monique Hanks, NP

Monique Hanks is a pediatric hematology oncology provider at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital — supporting patients Salt Lake City, Utah and surrounding communities. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, acute care, immunology, and hematology. She loves working in pediatrics because children are both hilarious and resilient, bringing genuine joy and lightness to her life every day.

As a caregiver, Monique’s philosophy of care is to approach each child with compassion, guide families with knowledge and support, and create a safe space where children can thrive. As a mother herself, she has always loved to work with families and children. She understands the questions and emotions families can have when coming into the hospital and aims to be a source of comfort and knowledge.  

Outside the clinic, the Utah native enjoys family time, hiking, boating, photography, sewing, and crafting.
