Miriam Hughes, CNM

Miriam Hughes, CNM, is a midwife at Intermountain Health’s Alta View Women’s Specialists in Sandy, Utah. She supports patients in Sandy, Murray, South Jordan, and surrounding communities providing a wide range of women’s healthcare, including pregnancy, hormone rebalancing, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), nutrition, and more. She loves being an active participant in her patients healthcare and providing her knowledge to help them live their healthiest lives possible.

As a caregiver, Miriam strives to meet women where they are in the context of their life. As a woman, wife, mother, and grandmother she has lived through all the experiences. She has a firm belief that women are not broken, and that many need to be guided on how to help their body work the best it can within the context of their life. Miriam is excited to help women through these various stages so they can live happy and fulfilled lives.

Miriam was born in Kanab, Utah but raised in Arizona. Outside the clinic, she absolutely loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren as often as she can. Her second priority is getting outdoors as much as possible through camping, hiking, walking, and more. She loves to learn and can often be found reading, just for the fun of it!
