About The Provider
Milan Ravishankar, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist in Las Vegas, Nevada. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, dyslipidemia, and cardiomyopathy, with a clinical approach centered on partnership, education, and long-term cardiac wellness.
Dr. Ravishankar believes that whether heart disease is treated medically or with procedures, the true measure of success is seen in how patients live after treatment. The most meaningful moments in his practice are follow-up visits where patients describe what they can do again—moments that reflect restored health and a fuller life. He views cardiac care as a collaborative journey, emphasizing that it’s not enough for patients to simply know they have “heart disease.” His goal is to ensure they understand their condition deeply so that they can combine informed lifestyle choices with the right medical therapy for maximum benefit.
When procedures are necessary, Dr. Ravishankar is committed to performing them in a way that provides durable, lasting results.
A Dallas native, he is excited to explore Las Vegas and the natural beauty of the Mountain West. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, visiting national parks, and discovering new restaurants.

He was very nice, listened well, and explained what he thought what may be going on with me. I think he should have been more familiar with the heart monitor I was going to use. I did not have to "push a button" for any event I experienced.
