Michael Gehring, MD

Michael Gehring, MD, is a hand and plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Intermountain Medical Center’s Plastic Surgery Clinic in Murray, Utah. He is dedicated to restoring both function and confidence through thoughtful, individualized care. His practice encompasses hand and upper extremity surgery, peripheral nerve conditions, reconstructive surgery, and complex soft-tissue problems.

Dr. Gehring especially enjoys cases that combine technical problem-solving with meaningful improvements in quality of life. His clinical interests include intricate hand reconstruction, nerve injuries, and post-traumatic and degenerative conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity. Originally from Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, Dr. Gehring enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife, Madison, and their Goldendoodle, Cash. They enjoy hiking, staying active, trying new breweries, and relaxing at home playing board games. They also make a point of staying closely connected with their families in Wisconsin and Colorado.
