About Michael D. Geurin
About The Provider
After completing a Master’s in English and teaching English in the Czech Republic, Dr. Geurin completed his pre-medical and medical studies in Oklahoma, graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Geurin completed a Family Medicine Residency with the Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings. As a faculty physician at Montana Family Medicine Residency/RiverStone Health, Dr. Geurin practiced full-spectrum family medicine, including hospital and maternity care, completed a faculty development fellowship with the University of Washington, and served as Montana Family Medicine Residency's Director of Research & Scholarly Activity. He is passionate about lifelong learning, advocating for healthcare access and equity, and teaching the next generation of health professionals.

When not working, Dr. Geurin enjoys photographing Montana's landscape and wildlife and supporting the Billings Symphony.

Dr. Geurin is a very thoughtful physician. He makes an assessment not only of my medical needs but also what I need to understand to buy in to my own health care and take ownership. He spoke to me at my level; never speaking down to me or speaking to me with words I couldn’t understand. He’s models what it means to be the physician those training should aspire to be like.
