Michael D. Gallo, MD

Michael Gallo, MD, is a sleep medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic, supporting patients in and around Utah County. He treats a wide range of sleep conditions, including chronic insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, sleep-related hypoxemia, narcolepsy, and more.

As a sleep medicine family physician, he approaches care by focusing on educating his patients and ensuring they understand their medical conditions. With that in place, they can partner to discuss available treatment options for sleep disorders.

Dr. Gallo's background includes a family medicine residency at Central Michigan University, sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Michigan, Department of Neurology, then two years at Baptist Health of South Florida in the Department of Cardiology, where he practiced adult sleep medicine. He also worked as an urgent care physician at Covenant HealthCare in Michigan. Dr. Gallo is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Thoracic Society, and American Academy of Family Physicians. 

Outside the clinic, Dr. Gallo enjoys traveling abroad, snowboarding, hiking, boxing, comedy, reading, playing chess, and baseball.
