Dr. Michael C. Marsden, DO, is a compassionate and skilled pediatrician with a deep commitment to the comprehensive care of children from infancy through adolescence. Born and raised in St. George, Utah, Dr. Marsden completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Southern Utah University, followed by his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in 2005, where he honed his skills and dedication to child health.
Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics since 2006, Dr. Marsden brings a thoughtful and respectful approach to pediatric care, ensuring that every child feels heard and valued. His clinical interests include trauma, routine care for children of all ages, and asthma management. Dr. Marsden is particularly adept at making medical environments comforting for children, using humor and relatability to ease their fears.
In addition to general pediatric care, Dr. Marsden is skilled in various procedures such as laceration repair, casting, and circumcision for newborns, ensuring comprehensive treatment capabilities within his practice. It always connects with them, it is a tradition for my kids to hide and scare him when he walks in and they are not 8 and 11 and still doing it and he is playing along. They have a special connection but think he is like that with all his patients, he remembers what they are into and like and they love and look forward to going to see him. He is truly an amazing Dr. Marsden and goes above and beyond for his patients.
