Michael A. Pope, MD

Dr. Michael Pope is a psychiatrist at Intermountain Health’s Cottonwood Clinic – Psychiatry and Counseling in Murray, Utah. He supports patients in Murray, Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, Midvale and surrounding communities treating depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, and more.

Dr. Pope works with patients to manage psychiatric illnesses with medications while empowering them with non-pharmacologic approaches to optimizing mental health such as exercise, building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and mindfulness work.

Dr. Pope graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2019 and completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Utah Medical Center in 2023.
