Micaiah Richie, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in behavioral health support for individuals navigating the physical and emotional journey of weight loss. As a key team member, she provides compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses the psychological aspects of weight management, lifestyle changes, and long-term success after surgery.

With a focus on creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment, Micaiah helps patients explore their relationship with food, body image, self-esteem, and motivation. She uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, to help individuals build sustainable habits and emotional resilience.

Outside work, Micaiah enjoys the outdoors with her fiancée and their dogs. In the summer, they hike and paddleboard; in winter, they snowboard. Regardless of the season, you will always find her with a book.
