Melisa Burns, NP

Melisa Burns is a certified nurse practitioner practicing wound care at Intermountain Health's McKay-Dee Hospital. She supports patients and their families in Weber County, focusing on wound care and wound healing. 

Melisa's care philosophy centers on providing individualized, compassionate, and high-quality care by recognizing each patient's unique circumstances and educating both patients and their families. She believes her success as a nurse practitioner depends on being a dedicated advocate for her patients and a committed representative of advanced practice nursing.

When she’s not working, she loves to travel, camp, and hike with her husband, family, and their two dogs, and when she’s at home, her seven other feathery family members (their chickens) keep her busy.
