Meghan A. Mahoney, MD

A Texas native, Dr. Mahoney received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation, she attended Texas Tech in Lubbock for medical school where she received a dual Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degree. A public health background gave Dr. Mahoney a love for preventive care and helped her decide to pursue OB/Gyn as a specialty. Dr. Mahoney completed her residency in Denver, Colorado at St. Joseph Hospital. As an OB/Gyn her clinical interests include minimally-invasive surgery, preventive medicine and obstetrics.

Dr. Mahoney comes from a family of healthcare providers. Her brother is a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital and her aunt is a newly-retired OB/Gyn who practiced in the Denver area for 20 years. Dr. Mahoney enjoys hiking and camping with her partner and their dog, reading, baking, knitting and spending time with her family.
