About The Provider
Megan Pierce, MD is a pulmonologist at Intermountain Health’s McKay-Dee’s Pulmonology Clinic in Ogden, Utah. She supports patients in Ogden, northern Davis County, South Weber, North Ogden, and surrounding communities treating acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), asthma, pulmonary infections, interstitial lung disease, COPD, and more.
Dr. Pierce is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and their families and providing empathetic care. She feels truly honored to care for others and provide high-quality, evidence-based care with a focus on treating every patient with respect and compassion.
Dr. Pierce moved to Utah from Virginia with her husband and two sons to pursue her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Utah. As a family, they enjoy many activities and love exploring the nature and resources of Utah and the surrounding states, including the “Big Five” national parks. They have found new hobbies unique to the region like rock hounding and searching for fossils, and enjoy hiking, biking, and camping. In the winter, they ski and snowboard. Dr. Pierce also enjoys powerlifting and has recently started playing tennis.

Dr Pierce took me on when I was a mess . She listen to me , understood what I wanted and she has helped me to accomplish it . I have so much trust in her I followed her from the U of U to intermountain health .. she is honest , tells you the why and listens . I can not express my trust in her .
