Megan R. Ames, CNM

Originally from Yakima, Washington Megan earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from Washington State University. She spent the next eight years working as a family medicine nurse. During this time, Megan’s work included both prenatal and postpartum care. Megan decided to continue her medical education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing, Certified Nurse Midwifery through Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Megan then spent 18 months working as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Richland, Washington before moving to Colorado. Megan’s clinical interests include thyroid health, lactation support, emotional and mental well-being and nutrition.

When not working, Megan spends time with her husband, three children, dog, three cats and pet snail. Her lively household is eager to travel the area hiking, biking, swimming and playing. Personally, Megan enjoys reading, traveling and making homemade tea blends.
