Maud Darger, PA

Maud Darger, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Intermountain Health Heart & Vascular – Wheat Ridge Clinic Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery, where she focuses on cardiac surgery and critical care. She has a strong passion for cardiac cases of all kinds, with particular interest in aortic, valvular, and coronary artery bypass procedures. Maud finds these cases especially rewarding due to the immediate, tangible improvements they can bring to a patient’s quality of life.

Her approach to care is grounded in meeting patients where they are and ensuring they feel seen, heard, and fully informed about their treatment. She prioritizes clear communication and patient education, helping individuals feel confident and engaged throughout their care journey. Before becoming a physician assistant, Maud worked as a nurse, an experience that continues to shape her emphasis on education, compassion, and patient-centered care.

Outside of her clinical work, Maud enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors. Her hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, surfing, dancing, yoga, traveling, and playing ice hockey.
