Matthew Torbenson, MD

Matthew "Matt" Torbenson, MD, is a psychiatrist practicing general and addiction psychiatry at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Clinic Psychiatry and Counseling in Provo, Utah. His clinical interests include medication management, mindfulness-based therapy, TMS, ketamine-assisted therapy, and addiction treatment. He particularly enjoys treating depression and anxiety, finding it rewarding to see patients grow and progress throughout their course of treatment.

As a provider, he believes that we can do hard things — especially if we work together. His goal is to provide the support patients need to live the lives they want to live.

Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Dr. Torbenson enjoys sports, spending time in nature, and being with his wife and children.
