Matthew J. Swenson, MD

Matthew J. Swenson, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in pediatric psychiatry at Utah Valley Clinic - Psychiatry and Counseling in Provo, Utah. He provides mental health care for children, adolescents, and young adults ages 4 to 26, with a focus on comprehensive, specialized support for each patient.

Dr. Swenson earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his residency in psychiatry at UC Davis. He went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Utah Medical Center, giving him advanced training in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions in young people.

He is dedicated to the well-being of children and families navigating mental health challenges, and to helping each patient he sees move forward.
