About Matthew D. Anderson

About The Provider

Dr. Anderson is originally from Providence, Utah. He received his undergraduate degree in Spanish from Utah State University and his medical doctorate degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and an additional one-year of fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. His research during fellowship involved evaluating the efficacy of the latest medications used to treat myasthenia gravis.

Dr. Anderson welcomes patients with general neurological conditions and has a special interest in neuromuscular junction disorders, neuropathies, seizures, and headaches. He administers Botox for headaches, spasticity, and dystonias. He also interprets EEGs and performs nerve conduction and electromyography studies (NCS/EMGs).
