Mary Jane LaRoche, NP

Mary Jane LaRoche, MS, ANP, CNS, ANP-BC, AOCNP, ACHPN, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arizona. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a Post-master's Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center in 2004, 2005. Mary Jane graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018.

Her quality improvement project was, “Improved Secondary Prevention of Bone Disease in Men on Androgen Deprivation Therapy for Prostate Cancer: Quality Improvement through Implementation of Evidence-Based Bone Health Guidelines”. She currently works as an adult nurse practitioner at the Cancer Centers of Colorado at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Mary Jane has worked in oncology for over thirty years with an interest in palliative care, symptom management and survivorship. Her goal is to provide individualized health care in partnership with patients and the cancer center team for best patient outcomes. She is and member of the Oncology Nursing Society and current section editor for Measuring Up in the the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology ADVANCE newsletter.

Mary Jane is an investigator involved in clinical research trials in the areas of medical oncology and hematology. Her research focus is oncology. 

Mary Jane values time with her family, being outdoors, traveling, and playing volleyball.
