Dr. Luker is originally from Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor's degree in Ithaca, New York, followed by his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following his education, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center.

He is passionate about the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to the knee and shoulder joints. When he is not at work, Dr. Luker enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, cycling and playing a lot of lacrosse.

Very Good is as high as your survey will allow but Dr. Luker is an outstanding Orthopedic Surgeon and this is coming from a patient who has had multiply orthopedic surgeries. We understand the Dr Luker is semi retiring while well deserved Mark will be very hard if not impossible to replace.

He was very calm, professional, really listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. Going into surgery was a very calm and positive experience instead of stress and fear. I knew I was in good hands.

Dr. Luker, took the time to explain what 2 other ortopedic doctors did not. He is professional and knowledgeable about his surgery procedure and truly cares. Best in the western Colorado by far.
