She holds an MS in nursing from Chamberlain University, an MD from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In her spare time, she plays the piano, listens to Anita Baker, and reads.
