Marc A. Steed, PHD

Marc Steed, PhD, is a neuropsychologist at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Sports Medicine Clinic in Provo, Utah. His specialty that brings together neurology, the study of the nervous system, and psychology, the study of how the mind shapes behavior. He performs evaluations that help identify and explain changes in thinking, memory, and behavior caused by injury or illness affecting the brain and nervous system. This includes developmental disorders, learning and attention difficulties, concussion and other traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, brain cancer, toxic exposure, stroke, and dementia. Dr. Steed cares for patients age 6 and older.

His training and professional experience span a wide range of inpatient and outpatient settings, working with children, teens, and adults living with neurological and psychiatric conditions. That background allows him to tailor each evaluation to the person in front of him and translate the results into clear, practical guidance for patients and their families.

Dr. Steed divides his time between the Utah Valley Hospital Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic and the Utah Valley Hospital Neurospecialty Rehabilitation Unit in Provo, Utah.
