Makenzie L. Kroupa, OT

Makenzie Kroupa, OT, is an occupational therapist at Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO. She earned her bachelor's degree from Colorado Mesa University and a doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota. Her work as an occupational therapist focuses on orthopedic conditions of the upper extremities and hand-related issues. During her occupational therapy program, she had a clinical rotation in hand therapy and instantly knew this setting was meant for her. Makenzie enjoys helping others recover and regain their independence. She strives to provide compassionate care that supports each person’s unique recovery journey and helps them return to the activities that matter most in their lives.

Outside of work, Makenzie enjoys staying active and engaging in various outdoor activities. Her hobbies include hiking, skiing, golfing, and attending University of Wyoming sporting events. She values spending quality time with her family and taking her golden retrievers for walks. Originally from Rock Springs, Wyoming, Makenzie moved to Grand Junction to compete in track and field for Colorado Mesa University.
