Madeline Wheeler, PA

Madeline "Maddie" Wheeler, PA-C, a physician assistant specializing in trauma care at Intermountain Health's Utah Valley Trauma Services in Provo, Utah. She is dedicated to supporting patients through some of life's most challenging moments. Maddie became a physician assistant because she enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them through difficult situations, and she feels honored to be part of each patient's recovery journey.

As a provider, Maddie strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care during some of life's most challenging moments. She believes that the best outcomes come from a collaborative approach between patients, families, and every member of the healthcare team.

Maddie especially enjoys suturing, noting that it's one of the few times in medicine when something can be fixed almost immediately. Her clinical interests include suturing and other minor procedures, working with pediatric patients, and emergency care.

Originally from Sandy, Utah, Maddie enjoys spending time with her husband, Parker, and their dog, Penny. Together they love the outdoors, traveling, and going to concerts. She also enjoys crocheting, embroidery, painting, and reading.
