Madeline Foley, MD

Madeline Foley, MD, is an internal medicine physician at Intermountain Health's Avenues Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoys the challenge of complex diagnostic puzzles and finds real fulfillment in caring for patients with multiple conditions, helping balance the many ways those conditions connect. She practices by a simple guiding idea: "The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease."

Her clinical interests include women's health, medical education, and integrative and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Foley greatly enjoys primary care and getting to know her patients over time. She believes in caring for the whole person and acknowledging the many factors that contribute to someone's health.

A Salt Lake City native, Dr. Foley enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and traveling. Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, her daughter, and their golden retriever, Ovi.
