About Maddison J. Heyn

About The Provider

Maddison Heyn, PA-C, DipACLM, is a family medicine provider at Intermountain Health’s Utah Valley Clinic – Family Medicine in Provo, Utah. She supports patients in Provo, Orem, Vineyard, Springville and surrounding communities, consulting with patients to assess lifestyle concerns such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress and prescribe a regimen to help optimize these areas to improve chronic disease, lose weight, and improve quality of life. Maddison has a passion for exercise and counseling her patients on the benefits of exercise. Her practice focuses on weight management and chronic disease support, working alongside your primary care provider—not replacing them—to help you reach your health goals.

Maddison obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University, and a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Utah in 2017. She then began work at a busy pediatric clinic, practicing general pediatrics. During her time in pediatrics, she enjoyed counseling patients on healthy lifestyle behaviors and especially enjoyed counseling adolescent patients. She joined the Intermountain team in 2022 when she became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. Now at Utah Valley Family Medicine Clinic, Maddison will continue seeing children and adolescents for lifestyle medicine counseling in addition to her adult patients. In her free time, Maddison enjoys spending time outside with her husband and kids. They enjoy walking, biking, and swimming together. She also enjoys traveling, especially internationally.
