Luke A Townsend, MD

Luke Townsend, MD, is a fellowship-trained provider at the McKay-Dee Gastroenterology Clinic. Dr. Townsend graduated with his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then completed a residency in internal medicine through the Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at Ochsner Medical Center.

Dr. Townsend’s practice focuses on diagnosing and treating disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon.

Dr. Townsend is originally from West Monroe, Louisiana. When not working he enjoys hunting, hiking, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with family.
