Luis Felipe Diaz, LCSW

With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, Luis Diaz is a licensed clinical social worker providing behavioral health support within the primary care setting. He brings a deep, thoughtful approach to mental health care, integrating clinical expertise with a strong understanding of how the brain, emotions, and life experiences interact. 

His clinical interests include neuropsychology, the formation and resolution of trauma, and the complex relationship between perception and emotion. Luis is especially passionate about working with individuals facing trauma and anxiety. One of the most meaningful aspects of his work is helping patients understand the neurobiology behind trauma and stress responses—empowering them with insight, tools, and hope for healing. 

Luis believes in the power of psychoeducation as a foundation for meaningful change. By helping patients understand why they feel the way they do, he fosters resilience, self-compassion, and sustainable progress.
