Lucus C Christoffersen, NP

Lucus Christoffersen, is a nurse practitioner (DNP), working with various teams to provide the best care possible at Intermountain Health. He supports neurological patients at McKay-Dee Hospital who are already admitted with acute conditions like stroke, seizures, infections, and more. As a perioperative provider, he supports Intermountain patients around Utah virtually by providing screenings to support patients who are scheduled for upcoming procedures — helping them navigate, optimize, and ensure the best outcomes when they return home after their operation.

Lucus is committed to providing compassionate, inclusive, patient-centered care through timely, acute-care interventions and evidence-based practices, while engaging patients and their families through education and shared decision making to provide personalized, goal-oriented care.

Outside work, he enjoys traveling, reading, playing with his two dogs, hiking and other outdoor activities, sports like hockey and baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
