Lovenia M. Stam, NP

Lovenia Stam is a nurse practitioner, specializing in general surgery at Northern Utah Surgeons on the McKay-Dee Hospital Campus. She supports patients in Ogden, Weber County, north Davis County, and surrounding communities, working primarily with Dr. Carabine preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively.

Lovenia believes the human body is amazing in what it can heal and recover from. She is passionate about helping patients and families understand their situation so they can make informed decisions. She believes that mental health is the most important thing in the healing process.

Lovenia is originally from Wyoming, Chicago, and Idaho. When she is not working, Lovenia enjoys playing the violin in the Chamber Orchestra of Ogden, cycling, hiking, snowboarding and, most importantly, spending time with her kids. She has three kids and eight siblings.
