About The Provider
Dr. Lourdes Ada grew up in a provincial town in the Philippines, where her parents and grandparents are hardworking people involved in community service, which helped her choose a career in medicine. She also has two sisters and several uncles who work in the medical field.
She launched her medical career as an intern at Veterans Memorial Medical Center at Quezon City in the Philippines, and upon graduation,worked as a physician at several hospitals and clinics in the Philippines. Upon moving to the US, she worked as a resident physician at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, and as a resident at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She then became a staff physician at an ER, a nursing home, and an outpatient clinic in Alabama and in primary care and an outpatient clinic in Massachusetts.
Her education started with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines. She is certified by the American Academy of Family Practice. She speaks Tagalog and Ilocano.
