About Lisa Thiessen
About The Provider
I received my undergraduate education at Baylor University and the University of Mississippi. My Physical Therapy training was at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where I earned a Master's in Physical Therapy. Over the years, my focus has been in pediatrics. I currently work with children of all ages who have a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and developmental needs.
As a physical therapist who works mainly with children, it is amazing to see the progress they make after an injury or with a chronic condition. Assisting families in their journey to optimize their child's function is an honor. Seeing a child achieve new skills or recover to perform previous skills is rewarding and what inspires me daily.
I have lived in the Grand Valley for 31 years and enjoy horseback riding, cycling, and hiking. I love spending time with my husband, children, and their families, and traveling.
