Leynibel N. Lopez Aponte, LCSW

Leynibel Lopez is a licenses clinical social worker (LCSW) with Intermountain Health's Connect Care Behavioral Health. In this position she works virtually with patients, taking a collaborative, patient-centered approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that each person is the expert on their own life. She works to create a supportive space where patients feel heard, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Leynibel brings experience from inpatient psychiatry, residential treatment, outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health care management. She has also completed specialized training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
