Leanne Pereira, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at Heart & Vascular Downtown Clinic - Cardiology in Billings, Montana. She specializes in general cardiology, preventive cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and critical care, helping patients improve their cardiovascular health and reduce their risk of heart disease through personalized, evidence-based care.

Dr. Pereira is passionate about patient education and believes understanding a diagnosis is an important first step toward better health. A new heart condition can bring uncertainty and overwhelm, which is why she takes time to listen carefully, answer questions, and explain complex medical information in a way that is clear and approachable. Her goal is to ensure patients feel heard, informed, and empowered to make collaborative decisions about their cardiovascular care.

Whether patients are managing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, heart failure, or other heart conditions, Dr. Pereira partners with them to create treatment plans that support long-term heart health, improved quality of life, and lasting wellness.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Pereira enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and serving the Billings community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, reading, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Pereira and her husband foster dogs and hope to one day transform their property into a rescue sanctuary for animals in need.
