About The Provider
Leah O’Neal is a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in acute care, consulting, and
community nutrition programs. She provides evidence-based nutrition counseling for adults
and has worked with a wide range of conditions, including critical care nutrition, renal disease,
obesity, and diabetes management. Leah also brings valuable expertise in public health
nutrition and lactation education.
As a Certified Lactation Educator and an aspiring Diabetes Care and Education Specialist,
Leah is committed to expanding her clinical skill set to better support individuals managing
chronic conditions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and completed her
Accredited Dietetic Internship through California State University, Long Beach.
Leah’s approach to care is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and meeting patients where
they are. She strives to create a compassionate, supportive environment where individuals
feel empowered to take meaningful steps toward their health goals. Her “one step at a time”
philosophy emphasizes realistic, lasting changes that positively influence long-term
well-being.
Outside of her professional work, Leah enjoys spending time with her family, hiking,
practicing yoga, and traveling. She and her husband, Jeremy, share three children who bring
joy and adventure to their lives.
Leah provides in-person and telehealth nutrition education through St. George Maternal and
Fetal Medicine and works with adult patients ages 18 to 64.
