About The Provider
Laycee Mozingo is a registered dietitian at Intermountain Health's Logan Regional Hospital who loves helping patients learn about nutrition and understand how it can improve their overall health. She especially enjoys guiding clients through the diet recommendations they've received from their doctors, helping them find simple, achievable ways to put those recommendations into practice.
As a provider, Laycee believes good nutrition is part of the foundation of a healthy life. She strives to meet patients where they are in their current health journey and partner with them to create realistic, sustainable goals that will empower them to improve their daily life.
Laycee's clinical interests include oncology nutrition, renal nutrition, nutrition education, and sports and performance nutrition. She provides medical nutrition therapy for adult outpatient oncology patients as well as those with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease on dialysis, including in-center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home hemodialysis.
Laycee wants patients to know that her goal is to use evidence-based nutrition interventions to help them succeed in improving their health. She readily admits she doesn't know everything, but she's eager to research and find safe, meaningful solutions for every patient she works with.
Laycee is from Logan, Utah. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter. Whether it's hiking, skiing, swimming, playing soccer, or relaxing in a hammock, the family enjoys being outdoors together, and they love to travel and explore new places as well.
